Sound familiar?
How HD Shocks fix it
- ✓Bigger monotube body than stock, so the coach settles fast instead of rocking.
- ✓Damping tuned for the real weight of a loaded motorhome, not a spec sheet.
- ✓Steadier in crosswinds and truck wash, so your hands relax on the wheel.
- ✓A calmer ride for your passengers and everything in the cabinets.
Here's the honest truth: a motorhome won't drive like a sports car. But HD Shocks get you a lot closer.

Find My ShockCommon questions
- Will new shocks really help with wind sway?
- Yes. Worn or undersized shocks let the coach keep rocking after a gust or a passing semi. HD Shocks control that movement so the coach settles fast and your hands relax on the wheel.
- Do I need shocks if I already have a steering stabilizer or sway bar?
- Usually, yes. A sway bar limits lean and a stabilizer helps steering, but neither controls bounce and rebound. That's the shock's job. We recommend shocks first, then sway bars, then load or air control.
- How do I know which shock fits my coach?
- Use Find My Shock: pick your coach brand, model and chassis. Not listed? Call 661-243-0020 with your year, coach and chassis.
- Can I install HD Shocks myself?
- If you're handy with a wrench, yes. HD Shocks bolt into the factory mounts. Motorhome shocks are big and heavy, so if you're not sure, have a shop do it.
- How often should motorhome shocks be replaced?
- Check them every year and replace or rebuild when you see leaks, more bounce or sway, or cupped tires. Because HD Shocks are fully serviceable, worn ones can be rebuilt instead of replaced.
